This crazy plane is part VTOL, part plane

The Transwing is a great unique aircraft that is part VTOL and part traditional aircraft. The craft begins its flights with the wings folded, in VTOL mode, eliminating the need for a long runway. Once it reaches the desired height, the wings thrust forward, transforming it into a more traditional fixed-wing aircraft. When it reaches its destination, the Transwing contracts its wings and begins the vertical landing process in the same way it does takeoff. The Transwing could become a better alternative to more traditional aircraft thanks to its superior maneuverability, smaller airport footprint and its ability to handle a greater payload than many comparable craft.
