Aaron Taylor-Johnson has teased his new look as Spider-Man villain Kraven the Hunter.
Sony is going wild with its universe of Spider-Man characters. Their latest effort will bring Kraven the Hunter to the big screen. The studio has enlisted Aaron Taylor-Johnson to appear as the iconic Spider-Man villain for the upcoming movie directed by JC Chandor. While there are few details about the upcoming Marvel and Sony project, the film has rounded up its cast, which will mainly include Kraven’s family.
In a recent interview and shoot with Hero Magazine, Aaron Taylor-Johnson opened up about his acting as the iconic character. The star has already started preparing for the role, with his new look of a sharp beard and longer hair likely signaling what he’ll look like as the fighter.
You can find more photos of Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s new look in Hero Magazine, where he discussed how he’s currently participating in stunt training for the film through a conversation with Spider-Man star Andrew Garfield.
“I’m fine! I’m in England, I’m not in London but just outside, close to the production office [for Kraven the Hunter]† I’m staying here because I have a lot of stunt training to do for this movie, so the director and I will be sleeping for the next few weeks.”
As for how he feels about stepping into the role, the Kraven star provided a fitting response to Andrew Garfield.
“It comes with its challenges. As you know!”
The star went on to discuss what the Kraven the Hunter comic book is like and how Taylor-Johnson is being briefed on how to approach the role.
“You get there from a different angle, that’s back-to-front for me. It’s like looking at it from the physical aspect because that’s what you can see in a comic book. You go, ‘Oh, he looks like this, so I have to look like this.’ You see Which and then you start to go back and dig deeper, and you go, ‘This is where he’s from, then he’s’ this relationship and Which relationship…” You just hope you’re going to act out something that you can bring to life. There is again room for interpretation and you want to be able to bring something and make it pop off the page. To be another new challenge, we talk about putting yourself under constant pressure. I don’t shy away from controversial shit, I don’t know what it is, but I’m always drawn to the thing that could actually give me a ****** stroke!”
