Early set of photos of Creed III show Michael B. Jordan directing new co-star Jonathan Majors.
The images, released by Letterboxd on Twitter, show a shirtless Jonathan Majors arriving at the Creed III set and he’s clearly done the job of getting himself into combat form. Majors will play the antagonist in the upcoming third episode of the rocky spin-off series, opposite Michael B. Jordan’s Adonis Creed. The film also marks Jordan’s directorial debut, in which he takes on a key role both behind the camera and in front of it.
The new footage appears to be letting Michael B. Jordan get used to his directorial role as he meets his co-star Majors, who looks like he’s just completed his own real life. rocky assembly training. While no plot details have been confirmed and nothing is known about Majors’ character as of yet, he certainly looks set to jump into the ring with Creed. While Majors has always been in great shape during his past acting, it’s clear he’s grown to take on Jordan’s boxing lead. Check out the new images below.
Creed III will also be the first film in the franchise not to feature Sylvester Stallone’s Rocky Balboa, setting up Michael B. Jordan’s Creed to defeat his new opponent without the help of his famed mentor.
This isn’t the only antagonist Jonathan Majors is currently playing either. After appearing last year as the sinister He Who Remains in Loki on Disney Plus, Majors returns to the Marvel Cinematic Universe next year Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, as the villainous variant of the character, Kang the Conqueror. Maybe Jordan, who starred in Killmonger? Black Panthercan give him a few tips in between takes on Creed III†
