‘Daredevil’ Star Deborah Ann Woll Talks Back Amid Revival Rumors

daredevil actress Deborah Ann Woll talks about a return to the series amid Disney Plus revival reports.

Earlier this week, rumors circulated about Marvel’s highly anticipated return daredevil were at a fever pitch when a report was to come teasing a revival of the series for Disney Plus. The show was canceled by Netflix in 2018, and with the exciting return of both Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio in various MCU projects, many are hoping for the return of the rest of the original cast, including Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page.

In an interview with Den of Geek, Deborah Ann Woll was again asked about the prospect of a daredevil revival on Disney Plus. Of course, the actress was eager to return to the MCU’s Hell’s Kitchen:

“I loved playing Karen Page. I’d be happy to pick up Karen again in an instant…Should [Marvel Studios] call, I’m here with open ears.”

Marvel’s Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Defenders and the punisher all of them recently moved from Netflix to Disney Plus, sparking much speculation that Marvel Studios wanted to re-include those characters in the ongoing MCU. With the return of both the titular lead of daredevil in Spider-Man: No Way Home and the primary antagonist of the series appearing in hawk eye, it wouldn’t be hard to see Deborah Ann Woll reprise her role as Karen Page in an upcoming revival of the series. Let’s hope it will be worth the long wait.

Here’s the synopsis for Marvel’s third season daredevil:

Missing for months, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) resurfaces a broken man, leaving his future as vigilante Daredevil and attorney Matthew Murdock in question. But when his nemesis Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) is released from prison, Matt must choose between hiding from the world or accepting his destiny as a hero.

daredevil starring Charlie Cox, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Joanne Whalley, Jay Ali, Wilson Bethel, Stephen Rider and Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk.
