A reboot of The crow has been stuck in development hell for years with many directors and stars like Jason Momoa stuck with it. In the original film, Brandon Lee starred, who died during production. The crow‘s origins come from the indie comic world, with the character being created by James O’Barr for Caliber Comics in 1989. Per The Hollywood Reporterthe last attempt to The crow back to the big screen will appear It and Eternals star Bill Skarsgard and Ghost in the shell director Rupert Sanders.
Bill Skarsgard plays Eric Draven in Rupert Sanders’ The crowof King Richard writer Zach Baylin is responsible for the script of the planned reboot. While many attempts to The crow haven’t gotten off the ground over the years, this iteration of the project is already deep in pre-production, looking at a June start date. The shooting of the film will take place abroad in Prague and Munich with a budget of approximately $50 million.

Brandon Lee (Rapid Fire) plays Eric Draven, a young rock guitarist who, along with his fiancée, is brutally murdered by a ruthless gang of criminals. Exactly one year after his death, Eric returns, guarded by a hypnotic crow, to exact revenge, battling the evil crime boss and his band of villains, who must answer for their crimes.
Directed by Alex Proyas from a script written by David J. Schow and John Shirley, the 1994 film starring Brandon Lee, Ernie Hudson and Michael Wincott.
