Latest ‘Doctor Strange 2’ TV Spot Removes Rachel McAdams

A recently released TV spot for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness removed Rachel McAdams from a shot.

Rachel McAdams returns as Christine Palmer in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness after it was initially reported that she would not appear. When we got our first look at the sequel during the end credits of Spider-Man: No Way Homewe see McAdams’ Christine Palmer in a shot behind Strange and America Chavez opening a door to some chaos.

Marvel Studios is known for their trickery in trailers and TV spots, and it looks like we’ve got another example of this with Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madness. In the new TV spot, we see that same shot of Strange and America Chavez, but Rachel McAdams’ Christine Palmer is nowhere to be seen. It’s unclear at this point what this means for the upcoming movie, but we’ve seen McAdams in other shots as well, so she may not be removed from the movie altogether. You can watch the new recording in the TV spot below.

Here’s the recap of the movie:

The MCU unlocks the Multiverse and pushes its boundaries further than ever before. Journey into the unknown with Doctor Strange, who, with the help of mystical allies both old and new, traverses the mind-blowing and dangerous alternate realities of the Multiverse to confront a mysterious new adversary.

Directed by Sam Raimi from a script written by Michael Waldron, the upcoming movie stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Wong, Xochitl Gomez, with Michael Stuhlbarg and Rachel McAdams.
