Oscar Isaac reveals the origin of his Moon Knight in an action-packed TV spot

A new TV spot for Moon Knightt contains more images of Oscar Isaac that fit into the Disney Plus series.

So far, the Marvel Studios shows on Disney Plus have explored pre-existing characters such as Scarlet Witch, Loki, Hawkeye, and others. However, Moon Knight will be the first time an origin story is told episodically. Star Wars actor Oscar Isaac makes his MCU debut as Marc Spector in Moon Knight later this month.

Based on the images released so far, it appears Moon Knight won’t be a traditional Marvel origin story. This is mainly because Oscar Isaac’s Marc Spector suffers from dissociative identity disorder. So we will be traveling with Spector as he discovers his Egyptian roots. The closest we’ve probably seen to this approach was with Captain Marvelwhich also sees an MCU hero revisit the past to discover their origins.

Moon Knight is still a few weeks away, but more and more footage reveals Oscar Isaac’s transformation into a superhero. Marvel Studios just released a new TV spot where Steven Grant meets Marc Spector and promises one of the craziest MCU entries yet. You can check out the latest look at the upcoming series below.

Here’s the synopsis for it Moon Knight:

The series follows Steven Grant, a sweet-natured gift shop employee, who is plagued by blackouts and memories of another life. Steven discovers he has Dissociative Identity Disorder and shares a body with mercenary Marc Spector. As Steven/Marc’s enemies come at them, they must fathom their complex identities as they find themselves in a deadly mystery among the mighty gods of Egypt.

With Oscar Isaac, Ethan Hawke, Gaspard Ulliel and May Calamawy, the series is set to make its Disney Plus debut on March 30.
