Paramount Plus Releases Stunning New ‘Halo’ Trailer

A new trailer for Paramount Plus’ upcoming Halo series has been released for the show’s debut next week.

Halo marks the first major series for Paramount Plus, after it was originally slated for Showtime. A live action Halo project has been in the making for years, with Lord of the Rings director Peter Jackson at one point attached himself to a film adaptation. The wait for Master Chief in live-action will finally be over soon, and the series will be streaming next week.

We got our first look at the Halo series in January at the AFC Championship, which teased the scale of the series. Paramount Plus has now released a new trailer for the upcoming Halo series, which shows off some dazzling visuals and more insight into the story of the first season. The new trailer comes after a critical screening at SXSW. So far, reactions to the video game adaptation seem positive. You can watch the new trailer below.

Here’s the synopsis for it Halo

Dramatizing an epic 26th-century conflict between humanity and an alien threat known as the Covenant, Halo the series will weave deeply rooted personal stories with action, adventure and a richly imagined vision of the future.

The Halo series stars Pablo Schreiber as John-117/Master Chief, Yerin Ha as Kwan Ha, Natasha McElhone as Catherine Halsey and Cortana, Bookeem Woodbine as Soren-066, Shabana Azmi as Margaret Parangosky, Bentlet Kalu as Vannak-134, Natasha Culzac as Riz -028, and Kate Kennedy as Kai-125. Rupert Wyatt will direct multiple episodes of the series and will executive produce alongside Steven Spielberg, Kyle Killen, Scott Pennington, Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank.
