A new clip from the batter shows Robert Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne and Andy Serkis’ Alfred clashing.
We have seen a lot of footage of the batter that teases the movie’s many villains, but mama is the word for Alfred by Andy Serkis. Perhaps one of the most important characters in Batman’s mythos, Alfred Pennyworth operates as Bruce Wayne’s partner-in-crime (or “man in chair”), surrogate father figure and butler. Talk about being a jack of all trades!
Numerous heavyweights have portrayed Alfred over the years, most recently Jeremy Irons and Michael Caine. Now, Andy Serkis, known as the director of… Venom: Let There be massacre and Gollum from Lord of the Rings, will take on the role of Batman’s confidante. Only things don’t look so rosy between the butler and his master.
A new clip from the battercourtesy of Good Morning America, Alfred shows Andy Serkis letting Robert Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne know that Wayne Enterprises is falling apart because of his lack of attention. Wayne immediately declines his interest, claiming he cares more about being Batman.
