‘The Mandalorian’ Season 3 Finished Filming

According to Carl Weathers and crew members, filming on The Mandalorian season three is over.

Multiple Star Wars series is expected to come to Disney Plus this year, following Boba Fett’s book and Obi-Wan KenobiAndorra could arrive later this summer while The Bad Party season two could also hit the streamer in 2022. It is currently unclear whether The Mandalorian season three will make the cut, but filming has been revealed.

Filming in the third season from The Mandalorian started in the fall and it looks like the job is done based on Carl Weathers’ response on Twitter to a crew member’s post. In addition to his return as Greef Karga, Weathers also directed another episode for season three. With season three filming now complete, there’s a chance a first look will be revealed Star Wars Celebration in May.

After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the rise of the First Order. We follow the journeys of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic…

The series stars Pedro Pascal, Giancarlo Esposito, Temuera Morrison, Katee Sackhoff, Ming-Na Wen, Bill Burr, Timothy Olyphant, and Carl Weathers, with Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano leading up to her spin-off series. The series was created by Jon Favreau and executive produced by Dave Filoni, with season two episodes also directed by Rick Famuyiwa, Bryce Dallas Howard, Peyton Reed, Carl Weathers and Robert Rodriguez.
