ACCC has found that more NBN customers are switching to small carriers – here’s why

Smaller ISPs are gaining a larger share of NBN customers, according to a report by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), with consumers slowly moving away from the big telcos.

“We are pleased with the continued growth of smaller NBN providers,” said Anna Brakey, ACCC Commissioner. “Their presence in the market keeps the big four of Telstra, TPG, Optus and Vocus under pressure to maintain a competitive, high-quality service,” she said.
