Hisense PX1 Pro ultra short throw laser projector review

One minute revision

The Hisense PX1 Pro is a brilliant ultra short throw (UST) projector that manages to squeeze itself neatly between serious competition from the best projectors on the market. At $3,499 (about £2,850, AU$5,035) it’s not a budget piece for home theater equipment, but it does bring a meaningful upgrade over some more expensive projectors and doesn’t fall short of the ones it undercuts in price. .

Despite taking up only a small space on a shelf or media center, the Hisense PX1 Pro can project a 90-to-130-inch image using a triple laser light source. It’s on the plus side at 2,200 lumens, but that’s well below the 3,000 lumens of the L9G sitting above it in Hisense’s UST projector range.
