Nothing Phone (1) may not be sold in the US

Some smartphone brands have decided that it’s nice to slowly tease their upcoming devices over the course of many months, but the Nothing Phone (1) could be a case where that backfires. While the new Android phone is expected to debut in a few more weeks, a new tease suggests it will be hard to buy in the US.

Nothing has its debut smartphone listed on DropX (opens in new tab)which basically means you can bid on any of the first hundred models made – why you’d want to spend hard-earned cash on a smartphone you’ve never quite seen is beyond us (especially when the highest bids right now $1,500 is in the US and £1,100 in the UK – much more than the phone is likely to cost).
